23. Repeat step 22 at each box edge, then tuck all the white corners underneath the model to create a square base.
24. Turn the model over to reveal your rose. The rose petals will be fairly tightly packed together, so carefully shape them to your preference.
25. Turn the rose over and attach a bamboo skewer ‘stalk’ to the centre of the base of the rose, using quick-drying glue.
Lily
Lilies are a classic origami flower that are an intricate and impressive fold. They add a unique dimension to a bouquet and sit really well alongside other flowers. Practice makes perfect with these blooms but they are more fiddly than complicated to make. For this reason it’s really important to use a thin, plain paper, or one with minimal pattern.
